I live an hour away but was in the area shopping. The owner convinced me to let him change my badly damaged iphone screen for only $75 which only was supposed to take 30 minutes to fix. I finally caved in and gave him my phone. I stopped back 30 minutes later to his rude and unpleasant attitude, to find that he was having trouble fixing my screen. He kept complaining to me that he is being rushed and because of that he already cracked a new screen and now he's not making any money off of fixing my phone. As I stood there not sure what to say, he very rudely kept telling me that he's not making any money now. I felt bad and apologized because I felt that I was an inconvenience to him and I told him to just take his time as I waited patiently on the bench. About 20 minutes later he told me since he didn't have the correct screen that went to my iphone he had to take the insides of my phone out and put them into another. He is the expert so I agreed. Almost an hour after I walked into this store he then charged me full price which was $80 instead of the $75 that he offered. I verified my contacts, apps and internet and I left the store. I returned home and realized he now created a dead spot near the bottom of my phone where I could no longer type. I did not have the phone number and because of my work schedule I was unable to get in touch with the store until a month had passed. He refused to fix my phone for anything less than $40. I did not return.
